And finally… Some long awaited RED BOX news!
First of all, I'd like to reassure all the Red Box fans out there… Even though RB-2 is late, I have not forgotten about it and it is definitely coming very soon. Not just yet but very soon indeed.
I have waited for this moment for almost two years now. Working on the Red Box series is probably one of my favorite things to do and I have been writing and doodling thumbnails and sketching and rewriting and preparing for RB-2 regularly since RB-1 came out in 2012 between all my other projects.
It's all pretty much ready to go and it will totally rock your socks off (#fact).
I still have a few things to take care of before I can officially officially dive into this mega project but RB-2 is coming very soon!
A FEW TECHNICAL FACTS:
1- RB-2 will be published regularly here, for free, just like RB-1.
2- Red Box season 2 premiere is expected in early April.
3- RB-2 will be published on Wednesdays.
4- RB-2 will have a lot more pages than RB-1 but I just can't bring myself to cut it in two so it'll just be massive and that's that.
5- Because a book like a Red Box season is such a considerable amount of work (RB-1 took me a year to make) it is therefore practically and financially impossible for me to dedicate an entire year to one single book project. I have many other plans for many other book projects but also, I need to pay my rent. So, I will do my best to upload pages weekly like I did in 2012 but this time, I simply can't promise I'll be able to do it every single week. I'll try to make it as regularly as possible but I might miss a few Wednesdays… Just so you know.
6- Also, if you like stuff, to help cover the costs of such a massive project, I've been working with CR on a million little specials, kicks and Red Box limited edition merch projects that will come out throughout the year and be available here. All kinds of neat Red Box stuff is to be expected for this season.
So like I wrote, I have one last little project to take care of first and then it'll be all Red Box, all the time, until it's all finished. I really have no idea how long it'll take me to finish this second season but I'm guessing the possible release date for the hardcopy is not expected before 2016.
I really can't wait to start getting your feedback on everything that is about to happen in season 2 and I promise to totally and completely blow your minds (#fact). Season two will redefine the word "EPIC", I promise it!

I will also be updating this blog regularly until then with a bunch of cool stuff to get it ready for the big premiere in a few months so drop by once in a while to see what's new.
